Why only experienced professionals

Teaching a fresher and teaching someone with six years of experience are different jobs. The fresher needs fundamentals and a first break. You need something narrower and harder: a way to convert experience you already have into a role that currently screens you out.

Most programmes try to serve both and end up building for the fresher, because there are more of them. We decided not to. Everyone in your batch is working, everyone is short on time, and the material assumes you have seen a production system before.

How we teach

Live batches rather than recorded courses, because the questions people ask in the room are where most of the learning happens. Projects built on real company problems, because an interviewer can tell within two minutes whether you have solved something real.

Mentors work on live projects. Someone who last touched a pipeline four years ago cannot tell you what breaks in production this year.

Mock interviews, without a cap

Most people need considerably more mock interviews than they expect. The first is uncomfortable, the fifth is useful, and somewhere around the tenth the answers start sounding like someone who does the job rather than someone who studied it.

Capping them at a fixed number saves us money and costs you the offer. So we do not.

What we will not do

• Promise a guaranteed job. Nobody can, and the ones who do are selling something.
• Take you on if the timeline is not realistic. We say so on the assessment call.
• Publish salary figures we cannot stand behind.
• Work with freshers, however much they ask.

Where we are

Bengaluru, with an offline centre for people who work better in a room, and live online batches for everyone else. Many people mix the two — online during the week, in person for weekend project sessions and mock interviews.
